Welcome to our Readiness class! My name is Cheryl Bennett and this is my 4th year teaching at Strong Foundations. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Massachusetts and then furthered my education at UNH. I worked as a 2nd grade teacher in Gonic, NH. I I spent several years home with my children and then went back to work as a Title 1 (reading support) teacher in Bedford. Before coming to Strong Foundations, I worked with dyslexic students of all ages.

My husband and I have two daughters and one son. Our oldest daughter lives in San Francisco and is pursuing a degree in Interior Design. Our youngest daughter is currently attending college at UNH. Our son is a freshman at Roger Williams University. We have one puppy named Oliver; two cats, Micah and Murphy; and two tortoises named Philip and Georgia.
 

Things I love: The color pink, spending time with my family and friends, my pets, reading, traveling, shopping, Italian food and of course teaching.
